Three Valley City State University softball players were named to the North Star Athletic Association All Conference team announced Sunday.

MADISON, S.D. – No. 2 seed Dickinson State (N.D.) came from the loser's bracket of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Softball Conference Tournament with another elimination victory, rolling to a 12-2 6-inning win over No. 3 seed Valley City State (N.D.) Friday afternoon at Thue Softball Complex.  The Blue Hawks ended VCSU's postseason run, finishing their overall record at 24-22.

MADISON, S.D. – Top-seeded Jamestown (N.D.) and third-seeded Valley City State (N.D.) battled out for a spot in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Softball Conference Championship Game Saturday afternoon at Thue Softball Complex.  After the Vikings earned the first lead of the game, the Jimmies took advantage of VCSU's defensive errors for a 4-1 victory to secure a place in the championship game Sunday afternoon.

MADISON, S.D. – No. 3 seed Valley City State (N.D.) limited No. 2 seed Dickinson State (N.D.) to just three hits in the game Friday evening in the winner's bracket of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Softball Conference Tournament at Thue Softball Complex.  The Vikings went on to shut down the Blue Hawks by the score of 5-0, advancing to face the top-seed Jamestown (N.D.) in battle of two remaining undefeated teams in the tournament.
